Entry #29: BLOODMACHINE
Known history:
"BLOODMACHINE" is the name of a short poem/story found in a 6th grade biology book called Learn2be, this story is remarkable as it is the only one in the book,
and biology and scientific schoolwork doesn't normally contain many poems or stories.
It is also strange and described as grotesque or innapropiate. This was found in a now defunct online PDF scan archive of a school we will not name for privacy's sake

HER SKIN IS DRY.
HER HAIR IS BLACK.
WE MEET EYES.
SHE KNOWS IM HERE.
ITS THE BLOODMACHINE.
ITS THE BLOODMACHINE.
GETS CLOSE TO ME.
MY BONES.
MY SKIN.
SPARKLINK BRIGHTLY WITH ECSTACY.
FEAR.
PAIN.
THE PLEASURE PREVAILS.
FOR THE CYCLE IS ABOUT TO CONTINUE.
SHE PUTS HER HAND.
INSIDE MY CHEST.
BUT NOTHING COMES OUT BUT DUST.
nothing comes out but
AND WITH THE TOUCH OF A NAIL.
IN MY INSIDES IT STARTS TO PREVAIL.
DROOPING OOZING WITH VISCERA AND FLUID.
OH SWEET SWEET BLOOD.
THE SMOOTH RELEASE.
FINALLY INSIDE.
THE CYCLE CONTINUES ALL OF US SMILE SMILE SMILE.
THERE IS A FOUNTAIN OF BLOOD.

AND NOW YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR BLOOD COMES FROM.

Fascinating. The author of this poem seems to know and care a lot about blood. Is this like a myth? A legend? I wonder if this is a metaphor for something. I wonder who wrote you... And who were they trying to teach...

Learn2Be has not been producing books since 1999. They technically still exist, but as a shell company that has no employees, and only still exists because of the Education and MindMatter Foundation, when they bought the company and rights in 2003.
